| Description: | A quiet and family-friendly camping and caravanning park. We are situated just off the A66 near Keswick in a beautiful setting surrounded by stunning mountain views. Ideally based for exploring Keswick and North Lakes, Ullswater, Eden Valley, Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall. We are in an excellent position for walkers and cyclists alike with direct access to the surrounding fells as well as the C2C cycle route. Our 34 touring pitches are all hard-standings with electric and our 20 tent pitches are set in a lovely camping field near a stream. We also have a luxury holiday caravan to let. In 2006 we have refurbished our centrally-heated amenities block including a new family room and separate disabled facilities. Our well-stocked licensed shop sells local produce. Pitches available from 12 noon and after 20.00 by arrangement. Non members welcome. |

| Directions: | By car leave M6 jct 40 and take the A66 towards Keswick for approximately 10 miles. At a left-turn signposted Wallthwaite turn left. Park is 600 yds on the left. The nearest train stations are Keswick, 8 miles and Penrith, 10 miles. The X5 bus route from Penrith to Workington can be picked up from either Penrith or Keswick and there is a bus stop 600 yds from the park. |
