| | Description: | Easedale Lodge is a Victorian, Ambleside village residence. Built in 1877 from local Lakeland stone and slate, the lodge occupies a prominent village position, overlooking parkland and fells yet centrally located just a short stroll to all village amenities. The guest house offers 4-star bed and breakfast accommodation and has won gold award status for its overall guest experience.
The lodge is beautifully appointed with stylish accommodation and decor throughout. Interesting pictures and ornaments adorn the guest areas, many created by local artists or depicting the local area and its history. The comfortable guest sitting room is a peaceful haven in which to relax by the marble fireplace and has a wide range of local information, maps and books at your disposal.
The lodge is wi-fi enabled throughout and all guests have private parking. Main bus and coach stops are just around the corner giving easy access to the lodge for all travellers.
All guest bedrooms have comfortable beds with feather pillows and sumptuous duvets, cushions and throws. All rooms have digital TV, radio-alarm, hairdryer, beverage trays and modern en suite or private facilities with many little extras.
Guests enjoy a delicious, traditional breakfast in our conservatory dining room, with the full English individually cooked to order and a range of healthy options. Special dietary preferences are catered for by prior arrangement.
All the village cafes, restaurants and shops are a few minutes' walk away and mountian and lake walks and hikes start literally from the doorstep.
