Directions:Far Nook is situated on north side of Ambleside on the A591 heading towards Grasmere. Leaving Ambleside the little Bridge House is on your left. Travel straight on at the mini - roundabout and look for Ambleside health centre on your right. Go past the Greenbank Road junction (white bungalows here) and Far Nook is the second house on the right with two large coach lamps at the driveway entrance. Public transport: train from Oxenholme (the lake district) to Windermere. Bus (555) from Windermere to Ambleside Health Centre, which is 300 metres south of Far Nook.
