| | Directions: | Frequent bus service run by Cumberland Stagecoach, between Windermere/Ambleside. The service runs between 0800-2200, buses 555, 559 and 505. From A591 Windermere/Ambleside road for approximately 4 miles. At the traffic lights at Waterhead take the right fork, A591/Lake Road. Turn 2nd left into Wansfell Road, then 1st right which leads to the private parking area at the top of the road. Walk up the garden path to the house.
