The house is tradtionally built, modernised, centrally heated, well appointed and furnished to a very high standard. There is private parking and bike storage.
Our rooms provide comfortable en suite accommodation for your visit to The Lakes, all having their own individuality, with complimentary tea tray, colour TV/DVD or video and a selection of films for most tastes. A chiller is provided for your own drinks.
We serve a full English breakfast using local produce, grilled for the healthy option, complimented with home-made marmalade and honey from our own bees! Vegetarian and other diets are catered for.
Being beekeepers our guest house and home has many interesting items relating to bees. In season we may have some honey for sale. Open all year including Christmas and New Year, with special breaks for Valentines, Easter etc.
There are walks from the door and written guides to help you stay on track.
David and Christine provide a warm and friendly welcome, making your stay in Ambleside relaxing and enjoyable. Non smoking. No pets.
