Melrose is an elegant stone-terraced Victorian House set out over 4 floors, with 8 rooms of varing sizes, with a silver award, 4-star rating. Free lesiure passes available for the Langdale Spa. Peacefully situated near the centre of Ambleside with all shops and fine restaurants just two minutes' stroll away. The rooms are all decorated and furnished to an excellent standard, all with central heating, fresh towels, complimentary toiletries, refreshment tray and digital colour TV as standard. Traditional English breakfasts provided with lighter options and vegetarian alternatives available. Packed lunches made to order with complimentary flask fills. Separate drying facility for damp coats and boots. Wi-fi available in all bedrooms. Secure storage for cycles and motorbikes. Children are welcome but sorry, no pets. Directions:From M6 jct 36 follow A591 into Ambleside. From south come down Wansfell Road and turn right at bottom into Rothay Road. Stay in the right-hand lane, turn right into Kelsick Road at the corner of the park. Take first left into King Street and then left into Church Street, we are on the right. From north turn right into Church Street immediately after the Royal Oak pub. We are 300yds down on the right. Train to Windermere station, regular bus services to Ambleside. Alight at Kelsick Road stop which is literally just around the corner.
