Built in 1868, Blenheim Lodge has 11 bedrooms, 10 en suite, 1 with private bathroom. Each has tea/coffee-making facilities, remote control colour TV, and hair dryers.
We have single, double, twin and triple/family rooms, decorated in Laura Ashley colours and soft furnishing, amny with antique furniture. Most rooms feature deep luxury pocket-sprung hand-made matresses for a comfortable nights sleep.
The Langdale has an 1825 William IV antique 4-poster bed dressed with hand-made pure silk drapes and huge bay windows with specatcular views of lake Windermere.
The Fairfield has a wonderful Louis XV suite with a comfy 5' bed and bay windows showcasing stunning north lake and mountain views.
The Dalesway is a romantic boudoir filled with antique furniture including a fabulous Louis XV double bed with roccoco details. Bay windows overlook the National Park, creating an 'away from it all' feeling amidst beautiful countryside where wild deer graze.
Celebrating a special occasion? We can arrange flowers, wine, champagne and luxury handmade chocolate truffles in your room for your arrival.
Guests preferring ground floor accommodation can enjoy their beauty sleep in a stunning solid brass bed with bespoke pocket sprung mattress in The Blue Room. On the same floor is The Poppies, a small cosy room with a romantic white-painted iron bed. Both have lake views and lovely French decorative furniture, and are beautifully decorated in Laura Ashley colours and soft furnishings.
On the same floor is our TV lounge with fireplace, where you can curl up in comfort with a good book from our small library. You can sit in the bay windows overlooking the lake, enjoying a cup of tea or glass of wine. We can even make you hot chocolate if you ask!
Our breakfast menu includes vegetarian options. We use quality local produce, including handmade sausages and handcut bacon. The dairy delivers fresh milk and eggs daily, bottles of pasturised milk come the old fashioned way topped with cream, eggs are tasty with large orangey yolks. Croissants are served oven-fresh with equally delectable muffins.
We are quietly situated, but shops, restaurants, pubs, Lake Windermere and the private country club where we offer free membership are just 5-7 minutes' walk away. The club offers, swimming pool, sauna, spa, steam room, gym, solarium, lounge bar, squash, badminton, table tennis, snooker, and beauty treatments.
We are in an excellent location for walkers of The Dales Way footpath, as Blenheim Lodge is the first guest house off The Dales Way in Bowness and is just a minute's walk from our front door! We have outside taps for boots and fish!, and a drying room for wet or damp gear.
We offer 2 free WADAA fishing permits on a first come first served basis and are golfer friendly. We have private parking for cyclists and bikers; and can organise walks and sightseeing tours that pick up from our house.

Cross the mini roundabout with a big tree next to it and turn left, left and left again.
