As we are on the bus route it is possible to get the 93 bus or Hadrian's Wall bus from outside our main gate into Carlsile or to the end of the Hadrian's pathway at Bowness on Solway. The river Eden is close by which is always a popular fishing spot. Evening meals can be taken in two nearby pubs, again these are quite close to Knockupworth, all within walking distance, tables can be pre-booked if required. | | Facilities: | Electric shaver points
