We have 14 en suite bedrooms in 3 different grades to suit guests' requirements.
Our 2 AA-rosette awarded restaurant offers a daily changing 4 course menu, with the dishes created from the finest local produce, served in our beautiful dining room and conservatory.
We have 2 guest lounges one with a gas converted range and one with a real log fire and bar.
The garden at the rear of the hotel is yours to relax in during your stay or to take a wonder down to see the River Rothay as it makes its way to lake Grasmere.
You are welcome to arrive at anytime and leave your car or luggage, however, we cannot guarantee your room will be ready until after 14.00, on your departure day the check out time is by 11.00.
We serve breakfast between 08.15 and 09.45 Monday to Saturday inclusive, on a Sunday it is slightly later between 8.30 and 10.00. Dinner is served between 18.30 and 20.00 ...ish!
We like guests who choose to stay with us to experience our dinner at least once during their stay, therefore we have made this a mandatory requirement, 99.9% of our guests choose to book on our great value dinner, bed & breakfast terms and dine in everyday of their stay.
