| Description: | It was once upon a time in 1812 in the truly delightful town of Keswick with the mountains all around, that it was decided after much careful thought that the town was in need of a guest house of extraordinary charm and comfort, and so the perfect spot was found. Opposite the park, along side the river, with the delights of Keswick on the doorstep and views towards Skiddaw and Latrigg. And to be absolutely certain that everyone would recognise this most extraordinary and charming of guest houses they added an enchanting dutch facade to please the eye and named it Linnet Hill, so all was agreeable and guests were just about as welcome as it was possible to be. |

| Directions: | From M6 jct 40 take the A66 to Keswick. Follow the A66 for approximately 18 miles until you see the first sign to Keswick. At the bottom of the slip road bear left. At the T-junction turn right into Penrith Road into Keswick. Linnet Hill is the blue building on your left at the end of Penrith Road and before the traffic lights. Car parking at the rear. Left into Southey Street and then left again into Shorely Lane. Car park is on the left. |
