Sandhills is a working farm with its farmland on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake so the location is idyllic for visitors to the Lakes and you're welcome to wander down to the lake shore and visit the beautiful St.Begas Church.
The farmhouse is located in the grounds of Mirehouse, a historical family owned residence which boasts stunning gardens and amazing views. | | Directions: | Sandhills Farm is approximately 4 miles North West of Keswick towards the village of Bassenthwaite. The farm sits about 300 yards from the edge of Bassenthwaite Lake and at the foot of Skiddaw, near to historical Mirehouse.
From Keswick: From the A66 at Keswick, take the A591 until you see Mirehouse on your left. Sandhills Farm is the next left, after approximately 300 yards.
