Description:Squirrel Lodge is a warm, cosy, family-run guesthouse in a quiet area only a few minutes walk from Keswick town centre and around 10 minutes from lake Derwentwater and the new theatre. We offer a range of accommodation, including a luxury 4-poster bed, twin and double en suite rooms with double en suite with bath and power-shower. Our breakfast choices include cereals, yoghurt, fruit and fruit juice as well as a choice of 3 cooked breakfasts. These are full English with local Cumberland sausage, kippers or vegetarian with home-made hash browns. Many walks can be started from the doorstep and we will be happy to assist with your walk plans and provide information on the many activities available. Directions:From M6 jct 40 at Penrith, follow signs for Keswick onto A66 travel for 20-30 minutes. Take 1st turning into Keswick, past petrol station and turn left at the Conservative Club. Closest train station is Penrith, take a bus to Keswick, every 30 minutes, X4, X5 or X50 and alight at war memorial.
