Thornthwaite Forest provides a stunning backdrop to the rear, and the house stands in an elevated position looking across the Derwent Valley to the magnificent mountain views of Skiddaw, Dodd and Latrigg and Clough Head.
A hearty breakfast, made using the finest locally sourced ingredients, can be enjoyed in our comfortable dining room which enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding Lakeland fells. The house is centrally heated throughout, and in inclement weather you will find a fire blazing in the lounge.
All our bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, colour television, radio, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and radiator thermostats to control the room temperature. We also provide our guests with free WiFi internet access.
