The access off a quiet country lane and along a farm drive adds to it's seclusion and the location is excellent for exploring the northern Lakes, fells and coast. The market town of Cockermouth is within 4 miles and good food can be obtained in pubs in nearby villages and hamlets.
This traditional Lakeland farmstead has been sensitively converted by the resident owners, whose home it has been since 1968. The mews and cottage are detached and in separate courtyards, whilst the farmhouse is attached to the large barn where the family live. The privacy and comfort which the Howe provides creates a peaceful and relaxing setting - ideal for mini breaks or a longer stay. Short breaks 3 days from £140.
Electricity included except heating (meter reading) Fuel at a cost. Linen is included in the price. Pets accepted by arrangement: £10 per week.
Time of arrival between 3.00pm and 5.00pm. Time of departure 10.00am.
Car parking provided plus secure area for bicycles.
