Dating from 1825, the house is situated in a beautiful and quiet location at the end of a private lane, but within easy walking distance of the village centre and local restaurants. The house is set in a large and beautiful Lakeland garden, with its own Badger sett and magnificent surrounding views, thought by many to be among the best in the area. A private footpath meanders down from the garden to Grasmere lakeshore, alongside the River Rothay, where you can take advantage of our fishing rights.
