Description:Ravenbank is an elegant Victorian house built in 1851 as a former vicarage. It lies on Reston Scar, overlooking the village of Staveley, perfectly situated for visiting the Lakes. The house is set in large pleasant gardens and surrounded by beautiful country side and fells. We are pleased to welcome guests to our home. We offer spacious comfortable bedrooms with stunning views. Breakfast is served in our dining room overlooking the garden. We offer a wide choice to suit all tastes. Plenty of garden seating is available for guests who wish to read and relax. Ample private parking is available right outside the house. We are exclusively for non-smokers. Check in from 16.00. Directions:Exit M6 jct 36, follow A591 for Lakes and Windermere. After 8 miles arrive at Plumgarth roundabout. Take second exit, signed A591 (Windermere). After approximately 2 miles take right turn into Staveley village. Continue through village, at zebra crossing turn right, signed Kentmere. After 200 yds see War memorial on the left. Turn left by memorial infront of St James church. Take right turn between the church and the primary school, follow lane turning immediatley left behind the school onto our private drive. Ravenbank is at the top of the hill.
