We are in an ideal location for exploring and visiting many attractions in our area; the Haverthwaite and Lakeside steam Railway, steam boats on Windermere taking you to Bowness or Ambleside, The Aquarium, Fell Foot Park, Holker Hall. The Wild Animal Park, Grizedale Forest, the Motor Museum and more.
All rooms are en suite comprising of a double on the ground floor, a large 4-poster with lounge area, and a spacious family room accommodating 4 - 5 people, adjoining rooms, with the latter 2 also available as twins. All tastefully furnished and decorated, complete with TVs and tea trays with home-made biscuits. A private guest's lounge is also available on the ground floor, which leads out onto a private patio area.
Our breakfast menu offers an exceptional variety of choice, making good use of fresh local produce, whether it's a hearty English or a light continental, you'll be ready to enjoy all the Lakes has to offer. I am pleased to say the AA have awarded me with the Breakfast Award.
Guests are welcomed upon arrival with fresh scones and tea, where your hostess can offer her localised knowledge and advise.
Leisure facilities are available with in a 5-minute walk and we also have off-road parking and locked storage for bikes.
