This picturesque and tranquil location offers the ideal base for walking, sightseeing or to relax and unwind.
The house has been imaginatively restored retaining many original features creating a traditional style complemented by modern comforts. The guest lounge has been attractively decorated with cosy log burner, local literature, maps and ideas for walks or days out whatever the weather! We also have a folder of sample menus from local pubs and restaurants for your evening meal.
We have three luxury en-suite rooms all centrally heated and furnished to the highest standards. Our bedrooms have tasteful, individual décor featuring exposed oak beams and solid oak furniture. The beds are adorned with white Egyptian cotton linen on sumptuous duvets. All rooms are equipped with LCD TV, alarm clock radios, hairdryer, torch and well stocked hospitality trays.
Our bathrooms feature traditional white suites, heated towel rails and Italian tiled walls and floors together with complementary toiletries, fluffy bath sheets, hand and face towels.
Each morning enjoy a delicious Lakeland breakfast from our varied menu using local produce where ever possible in our light and airy dining room. Outside we have ample off road parking for guests who can also enjoy our mature garden and surrounding views of the southern Lake District.
