| | Description: | 1 Park Road is a fascinating place for many reasons apart from providing quality bed & breakfast. It was built in the late 19thC as a gentleman's residence. Some of the original character of the house remains alongside some wonderful modern touches. The feeling of peace is what many guests comment about and Philip and Mary's humour and easy going nature add to this experience. Music, fine food and wines and those personal extra touches are important to Philip and Mary such as fresh flowers in the hall and lounge, crayons and drawing books for the children, the grand piano and puzzles and games in the lounge. If you require collecting from the railway station or car-hire arranging, Philip and Mary will do this. At breakfast, there are various hearty alternatives such as Eggs Benedict, fresh fruit, smoothies, omelettes, fish. The 6 bedrooms have all been individually refurbished with modern facilities such as, Moroccan drapes, large comfortable beds, sofas, digital flat-screen Tvs, DVD and CD players, variety of teas, proper coffee and fresh milk.
