There are plenty of interesting local guides, maps, books and fresh flowers with a nice selection of prints from three generations of the Heaton Cooper family. Outside, the small private garden and patio, catches the sun from breakfast until early evening. Doreen your hostess, a born and bred Windermere girl, will arrange local minibus tours, hire of mountain bikes or horses riding facilities and pass on her extensive knowledge and advise on all the local walks and areas of interest.
