Haisthorpe House is a former gentleman's residence built in 1897 that has now been tastefully converted into a guest house, offering bed and breakfast accommodation.
It is situated in a secluded but central area of Windermere, only a few minutes walk from the village centre and the train/coach station. Diana offers a selection of six comfortable, tastefully decorated bedrooms, one with a jacuzzi bath and another one with a 4-poster bed. All rooms are non-smoking with wireless Internet access and have an en-suite bathroom. Each room is provided with television, radio alarm, hair dryer and hospitality tray including tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. The king-size room provides accommodation for families of 3, a party of 3 or can serve as a twin room, the en suite has a power body shower.
Limited private parking is available at the rear of the building.
Guests at Haisthorpe enjoy the use of the leisure facilities based at the nearby Old England Hotel. Facilities offered include indoor 20-metre swimming pool with views of lake Windermere, fully-equipped techno gym, thermal suite, rock sauna, aroma room and ice room.
