Haisthorpe House is a former gentleman's residence built in 1897 that has now been tastefully converted into a guest house, offering bed and breakfast accommodation.
It is situated in a secluded but central area of Windermere, only a few minutes walk from the village centre and the train/coach station. Diana offers a selection of six comfortable, tastefully decorated bedrooms, one with a jacuzzi bath and another one with a 4-poster bed. All rooms are non-smoking with wireless Internet access and have an en-suite bathroom. Each room is provided with television, radio alarm, hair dryer and hospitality tray including tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. The king-size room provides accommodation for families of 3, a party of 3 or can serve as a twin room, the en suite has a power body shower.
Limited private parking is available at the rear of the building.
Guests at Haisthorpe enjoy free use of Parkalnds Country Club, a nearby private leisure club where full use of the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gymnasium, squash and badminton courts, bar and snooker facilities is available. |
