| | Description: | A beautiful, detached stone building, circa 1870, situated on a quiet road in Windermere village with a large private car park. The building retains many original features and is bursting with character. Chef-proprietor Chris Blaydes, Master Chef of Great Britain and his wife Jo have re-sited the renowned local restaurant Jerichos into the Waverley to become A Restaurant with Rooms. Jerichos now has a marvellous contemporary dining room creating a wonderful match of Victorian and modern styles within this beautiful building.
Jerichos has been awarded 2 AA rosettes in the AA's Restaurant Guide, and continues to be highly rated in The Good Food Guide, Harden's and Michelin. The passion for food and wine is echoed with an extensive wine list. A passion that is waiting for you to share.
On entering the Waverley the original tiled foyer leads to a wonderful pitch pine staircase and large Westmorland window through which light floods.
The rooms are scrupulously clean, comfortable and all en suite. Breakfast is served in the contemporary restaurant, and is cooked to order by Chris. A warm welcome awaits, along with a high standard of care and a desire for you to visit again.

| | Directions: | By road, take the A591 to Windermere and turn into Elleray Road. Take the first right onto College Road. We are situated on the right hand side halfway down and have a large private carpark.
