Woodland walks right from the doorstep. The famous Beatrix Potter visitor centre is within 2 minutes walk. The house was built in 1843 as the courthouse and police station for Windermere & Bowness. Several interesting features remain as evidence of its history. Although you will find the full English breakfast delicious, freshly cooked from the finest local produce, we also offer cereals, fresh fruit basket and vegetarian breakfasts.
