Description:Cleator Moor is a small historic mining town nestled on the edge of the Western Lake District, close to the Cumbrian coast. The town is surrounded by open countryside and fells.
Directions:From Carlisle take the A595 to Cockermouth, go through Cockermouth heading for Egremont/Cleator Moor on the A5086. Cleator Moor is just before Egremont. From Penrith, take the A66 towards Keswick, then onto Cockermouth. Turn left at the main roundabout, signposted A5086 to Egremont/Cleator Moor.
