This Lakeland valley, which runs off the A6 road to the north of Kendal, is a country lover's paradise. The lush green, flower filled meadows are divided by the sparkling waters of the River Sprint, from where the pastureland rises up to the towering Cumbrian Fells.
We have two lodges, which are set in their own gardens with patio, and they have beautiful panoramic views from many windows.
Each lodge will sleep up to four people in one double and one twin bedroom.
Longsleddale is ideal as a peaceful base from which to walk surrounded by beautiful scenery, or explore not only the Lake District, but also the Dales and Scottish Borders. We are situated just 6 miles from Kendal, 8 miles from Windermere and about 14 miles from the M6 motorway.
The valley is relatively undiscovered by most visitors to the Lake District and is the original Greendale in the Postman Pat books.
