Description:Sunnyhill is an 18thC detached cottage in the delightful village of Brigsteer and has all the ingredients for a super holiday within the National Park. Extensive views can be enjoyed from most rooms, even from the kitchen sink! out over the Lyth Valley and the Langdales in the distance. Sunnyhill has a path from the rear to the Wheatsheaf Pub, a traditional country inn serving excellent ales and bar meals. Improved in recent times without any loss of character, Sunnyhill is a lovely home with feature beams throughout and a super wood-burning stove to welcome you at the end of the day. Careful thought has been given to provide furnishings and linens to continue the cottage theme throughout and to accommodate the original features of this old house, the floors gently sloping in places and some areas where you should bend or bump. Ground floor, Sunnyhill has oil-fired central heating and briefly comprises, entrance into utility room with useful sink, washer/dryer and plenty of space for storing outdoor gear. Kitchen/diner with breakfast bar splitting the two areas. The kitchen has a super electric range cooker with double oven, hob and griddle, fridge/freezer, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. CD radio in the dining area. Lounge with wood-burning stove, initial supply of logs provided, colour TV with digibox, video, DVD and CD hi fi. Small library with a selection of books, videos, DVD's, music CD's and vinyl. Couple of steps up to the snug with comfy seating, TV with digibox, DVD, video and playstation 2 with games provided. Cloakroom with hand basin and WC. First floor, bedroom 1, master bedroom with king-size bed, TV/DVD, video and a digibox Bedroom 2, spacious double bedroom, TV/DVD and a digibox. Bedroom 3, single bedroom with TV and a digibox. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, hand basin and WC. All oil, electric and bed linen included. Initial basket of logs provided. Sorry, no cot available. Extensive tiered gardens to the front of the house with 3 seperate seating areas on terraces with garden furniture provided on each, from where to take in the stunning views. BBQ provided. Payphone available. Private parking available for up to three cars at the roadside but do be aware that the access to the cottage is up through the tiered gardens and is quite steep in places.
