This gracious property stands in large, private woodland gardens which are home to red squirrels. There is a putting course and a bowling lawn.
Applethwaite, in the northern Lake District, is a peaceful hamlet on the edge of Keswick with excellent access to all areas of the Lake District National Park. The elevated setting of the house, nestling on the slopes of Skiddaw, offers outstanding views over Keswick, Derwentwater and Borrowdale. There are many walks from the door.
Irvine and Mallory are two very unique apartments, each with their own layout and character, but each providing spacious and comfortable home from home accommodation. Both are fully self-contained with private entrance, no shared stairway, non smoking and with private parking.
Common to both apartments are the wonderful views, double and twin ensuite bedrooms, fully fitted modern kitchens with dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and gas hob and spacious, characterful living accommodation with full central heating.
