Description:This traditional Lakeland 17thC former farmstead set in 8 acres of pleasantly undulating grassland crossed by 2 streams, has 3 self-catering cottages available, a 3 bedroom sleeping 5, a 2 bedroom sleeping 3 and a 1 bedroom sleeping 2, in a double bed. Created from an imaginative and high quality barn conversion these cottages offer delightful accommodation with the benefit of oil-fired central heating and double-glazing for cosy all year round breaks. All cottages have their own private garden area and ample parking space, bike storage and a drying room. Located just off the A66 almost midway between Penrith and Keswick. Wydon is marvellously accessible for visitors, 5 miles M6, and has speedy access to all parts of the North Lakes, Carlisle, Hadrian's Wall etc. Only 4 miles to Ullswater and a half-mile stroll to the village of Penruddock and the renowned Herdwick Inn.
