Description:A group of 5 charming well-equipped sandstone cottages, each with it’s own character, situated on the edge of a quiet, picturesque Cumbrian village with excellent pub serving food. Surrounded by rolling farmland, and lovely views, Wetheral Cottages is the perfect holiday destination for a memorable visit to Cumbria, from where you can easily visit the lakes and mountains of the Lake District or the many interesting villages of the Eden Valley. Walking, cycling, golf, fishing and sailing are available nearby. The cottages range in size from that sleeping up to 3, to one capable of sleeping 6. The cottages and gardens are maintained by the owners and our prices are fully inclusive of all linen, heat and light as well as free wifi.

Directions:From north or south leave M6 jct 40 and take A66 eastbound signed Appleby and Scotch Corner. At first roundabout take second exit, A686 Langwathby and Alston. After 3.6 miles turn left, B6412 Lazonby and Great Salkeld. A further 2.4 miles brings you into the centre of Great Salkeld. Turn right opposite the phone and post box. At the first minor crossroad, 150yds, turn right, this lane leads into the cottages with the car park on the left.
